Creating Winter Interest in your Garden
Mr. Spurgeon gave a wonderful slide show and quite a few suggestions on ways to create winter interest in your garden. His handout included a dozen different alternatives to create winter interest. From planting interesting trees, shrubs, and grasses to introducing focal points, hardscapes and lighting to your garden. He also explained, and showed examples, of simple ways you can enhance your garden for enjoyment year round. Colors, textures, seeds and fruit to attract birds, and winter blooming plants all contribute to a garden you can enjoy in every season of the year.
Thanks Van...your presentation was enjoyable and informative. I will certainly be implementing these suggestions into my garden.
